Comment Policy
We welcome your comments on stories posted at 1790 Live. Although we encourage you to use your real name when leaving comments it is not required. Anonymous posting is forbidden but pseudonyms are acceptable. You'll find several options to expedite this process including the ability to sign in with OpenID, Yahoo, Facebook and other types of accounts.
This function has been enabled in order to facilitate discussion on the current events featured on this site. We only ask that you are responsible in the use of your words.
The staff monitor all comments and retain the discretion to delete abusive posts and block abusive posters from future posting. We expect all contributors to be respectful.
